The Orthodox Community Ohev Yisroel, commonly known as Ohev Yisroel, is the only orthodox synagogue in downtown Ottawa. It is open for services on Shabbat and Yom Tov. It is home to the Jewish population of Sandy Hill, Lowertown, and Vanier.
